All over the world Tourism Sector is most strong tread sector.But different on different International trad fairs like IBT-Berlin,WTM-LONDON,BITE-Beijing, ATA-Travel Mart-Bangkok,T T F- kolkata, SATTE-Delhi etc.in Bangladesh it is a fact that due to different limitation in this field.Now a days Bangladesh organized World Tourism day in Collaboration with Bangladesh parjatan Corporation. TOAB  maintains excellent relationship with Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. its members have been actively participating in 

বাংলাদেশের পর্যটন শিল্পের সমস্যাসমূহ[সম্পাদনা]

বাংলাদেশের যোগাযোগ ও অবকাঠামোগত অসুবিধা ছাড়াও, চলমান রাজনৈতিক অস্থিরতা এবং নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে পর্যটকরা উদ্বিগ্ন থাকেন। এছাড়া পর্যটন শিল্পের প্রচার এবং প্রসারের জন্য সরকারি-বেসরকারি উভযের উদ্যোগের অভাব রয়েছে। বিভিন্ন পর্যটন স্পটে পর্যটকরা ছিনতাইসহ নানা রকমের নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভোগেন। বিশেষত নারী ও বিদেশি পর্যটকরা বেশি সমস্যায় পরেন। দিনের বেলায় ফেরিওয়ালাদের উৎপাত ছাড়াও পর্যটন স্পটে জিনিসপত্রের অগ্নিমূল্যের কারণে পর্যটকেরা অনুৎসাহিত হন।^[১][২]

বাংলাদেশের পর্যটন শিল্পের সম্ভাবনা[সম্পাদনা]

বাংলাদেশের প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যে যুগে যুগে ভ্রমণকারীরা মুগ্ধ হয়েছেন। স্বাভাবিকভাবে এ সৌন্দর্যের লীলাভূমি বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন শিল্প উন্নয়নের সম্ভাবনা অপরিসীম। নতুন করে কৌশল ঠিক করে সম্ভাবনার সবটুকুকে কাজে লাগিয়ে বাংলাদেশ দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার মধ্যে পর্যটনে মডেল হতে পারে। তুলনামূলকভাবে বাংলাদেশ স্বল্প আয়তনের দেশ হলেও বিদ্যমান পর্যটক আকর্ষণে যে বৈচিত্র্য তা সহজেই পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণ করতে পারে। পৃথিবীতে পর্যটন শিল্প আজ বৃহত্তম শিল্প হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। পর্যটন শিল্পের বিকাশের ওপর বাংলাদেশের অনেকখানি সামগ্রিক উন্নয়ন নির্ভর করছে। দেশে পর্যটন শিল্পের বিকাশ ঘটলে কর্মসংস্থান ঘটবে ও বেকারত্ব দূরীকরণের মাধ্যমে দারিদ্র্য বিমোচন সফল হবে। ভিন্ন ভিন্ন দেশের প্রাচীন যুগের ইতিহাস ও শিল্প, সাহিত্য, কালচার ও প্রথার সঙ্গে সম্পর্কযুক্ত ঐতিহাসিক স্থান দেখার জন্যও পর্যটকরা নিজ দেশের সীমানা পেরিয়ে দূর-দূরান্তে ছুটে চলে প্রতিনিয়ত। পর্যটন হলো একটি বহুমাত্রিক শ্রমঘন শিল্প। এ শিল্পের বহুমাত্রিকতার কারণে বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ে অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডের সম্ভাবনা তৈরি হয়। ফলে ব্যাপক কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। সরকারি অনুদান ও সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগের সঙ্গে যথাযথ সমন্বয় সাধন করার পাশাপাশি উন্নত অবকাঠামো, সঠিক পরিকল্পনা ও রাজনৈতিক স্থিতিশীল অবস্থা দরকার পর্যটনের জন্য। পর্যটন শিল্পের উপাদান ও ক্ষেত্রগুলো দেশে ও বিদেশে আকর্ষণীয়ভাবে উপস্থাপনের মাধ্যমে পর্যটন শিল্পের অধিকতর বিকাশ ঘটানো সম্ভব
